Hirtshals El-Motorservice ApS was audited by the English Sira Certification to be IECEx-certified according to IEC/EN 60079-19.

This means that we can now undertake work on ATEX-certified electric motors according to the said standards. The standards stipulate directions for service, maintenance and renovation of equipment in explosive atmospheres. And this is of great importance to a broad line of companies – the offshore and oil and gas industries in particular.

We are proud to be one out of three Danish companies with a certified approval to do servicing of ATEX-certified electric motors, for instance. We can therefore service, repair and renovate your equipment on site instead of at the manufacturer’s. ​

This generates great value to our customers, whose repairs we can do quickly, locally and according to the standards – and we can now live up to all these requirements. ​

We have specialized expertise in winding electric motors, and winding of electric motors of the Ex-d, Ex-e, Ex-de, Ex-n og Ex-t type is one of our services.
